DEFINITIONS

"Consultation" includes physical consultation, audio consultation, video consultation, chat consultation or any other lawful communication between a User and an Advocate.
"Content" includes documents, text, messages, audio, video, images, files, records and any other information uploaded or exchanged through the Platform.
"Applicable Law" includes the Advocates Act, 1961, Bar Council of India Rules, applicable State Bar Council Rules, Information Technology Act, 2000, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Consumer Protection Act, Goods and Services Tax laws and any other applicable Central or State law.
1. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM
Tareekh Pe Tareekh is a technology-enabled legal facilitation platform developed for the purpose of enabling Users to communicate with eligible Advocates through secure digital infrastructure.
The Platform is intended to simplify access to legal professionals by providing technology tools for appointment scheduling, communication, document exchange, payment facilitation and other digital services.
The Company provides only technological infrastructure and operational support to facilitate interaction between Users and Advocates.
The Platform may provide, subject to availability and future development:
• Advocate Discovery
• Advocate on Call
• Audio Consultation
• Video Consultation
• Chat Consultation
• Appointment Scheduling
• Digital Case Tracking
• Document Upload Facility
• Digital Notice Management
• Drafting Request Management
• Legal Consultation Management
• Customer Support

• Payment Facilitation
• Secure Digital Communication

• Other lawful technology-enabled services.
The Platform has been developed to improve accessibility, efficiency and convenience in obtaining legal assistance.
The Company does not itself provide legal representation before any Court, Tribunal, Judicial Authority or Government Department.
The Platform should never be interpreted as replacing the independent professional services of an Advocate.
Users are solely responsible for determining whether any legal service obtained through the Platform is suitable for their individual legal requirements.
Nothing contained on this Platform shall be interpreted as creating any attorney-client relationship between the User and Ram Shree Legal Services Limited.
The professional relationship, wherever created, shall exist only between the User and the concerned Advocate.
2. TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM ONLY
Ram Shree Legal Services Limited operates exclusively as a technology company.
The Company's primary role is to develop, maintain and operate digital infrastructure that enables lawful interaction between Users and independent Advocates.
Accordingly, the Company shall not be construed as:
• A Law Firm;
• An Advocate;
• A Legal Practitioner;
• An Attorney;
• A Solicitor;
• A Litigation Agency;
• A Recovery Agency;
• A Legal Representative;
• A Judicial Authority;
• An Arbitration Tribunal;
• A Government Agency.
The Company neither practises law nor offers legal representation in its own name.
The Company does not draft pleadings, appear before Courts or Tribunals, issue legal opinions or represent Users before Government Authorities.
The Platform merely enables technological communication and operational facilitation.
The Company does not supervise or control the professional legal judgment exercised by any Advocate.
No Advocate shall be deemed to be an employee merely because he or she is registered on the Platform.
No employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, principal-agent relationship or franchise relationship shall arise between the Company and any Advocate solely by reason of the use of the Platform.
Similarly, the User acknowledges that no contractual legal representation is created between the User and the Company merely by registering an account, making payment or requesting legal assistance.
3. COMPLIANCE WITH ADVOCATES ACT
& BCI RULES
The Platform has been designed with the objective of operating in a manner that is consistent with applicable Indian laws governing legal practice and digital services.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Platform intends to comply with:
• Advocates Act, 1961;
• Bar Council of India Rules;
• Applicable State Bar Council Rules;
• Information Technology Act, 2000;
• Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
• Consumer Protection Act;
• Goods and Services Tax Laws;
• Indian Contract Act;
• Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, where applicable;
• and other applicable Central and State laws.
The Company expects every Advocate using the Platform to independently comply with all professional obligations applicable to Advocates.
Nothing contained on the Platform shall be interpreted as authorising any Advocate to violate professional ethics.
Similarly, nothing contained on the Platform shall be interpreted as permitting Users to misuse legal services or encourage unlawful activities.
The Company reserves the right to modify operational procedures whenever reasonably necessary to comply with new legislation, judicial pronouncements, governmental notifications or regulatory directions.
Users acknowledge that compliance obligations may evolve over time and that Platform policies may accordingly be updated.
4. NO ADVERTISEMENT OR SOLICITATION
The Company respects the professional ethics governing the legal profession in India.
Accordingly, nothing contained on this Platform shall be construed as:
• advertisement of any Advocate;
• solicitation of legal work;
• canvassing for legal assignments;
• marketing of individual Advocates;
• guarantee of legal representation;
• guarantee of legal success;
• promise of favourable judicial orders;
• recommendation of one Advocate over another.
The Platform has not been created for the purpose of encouraging Advocates to advertise their legal practice.
The mere availability of an Advocate on the Platform shall not be interpreted as an invitation to engage that Advocate.
Users are solely responsible for making independent decisions regarding engagement of any Advocate.
The Company expressly disclaims any intention to promote, endorse or solicit legal work for any individual Advocate.
Nothing contained in profile information, consultation scheduling or technological matching should be interpreted as professional advertising.
Wherever applicable, Advocate information is displayed only for identification, operational and facilitation purposes.
The Company may modify the presentation of Advocate information whenever reasonably necessary to maintain regulatory compliance.
5. NO ENDORSEMENT
Registration of an Advocate on the Platform shall never be interpreted as certification, accreditation, recommendation or endorsement by Ram Shree Legal Services Limited.
The Company does not certify that any Advocate is superior to another Advocate.
The Company does not evaluate Advocates for the purpose of assigning professional rankings or quality certifications.
Users should independently evaluate:
• qualifications,
• experience,
• practice area,
• suitability,
• communication,
• professional approach,
before deciding whether to engage any Advocate.
No statement made on the Platform should be interpreted as a guarantee of competence or professional excellence.
The Company shall not be responsible for any decision taken by a User solely on the basis of publicly available profile information.
Nothing contained on the Platform shall be construed as creating any warranty, representation or guarantee regarding the quality, outcome or effectiveness of legal services rendered by any Advocate.

6. NO RANKING POLICY
Tareekh Pe Tareekh is committed to maintaining fairness, transparency and professional ethics while displaying information relating to Advocates registered on the Platform.
The Platform shall not intentionally publish or display promotional classifications or comparative titles which may reasonably be interpreted as advertising, endorsement or solicitation of legal work.
Accordingly, unless expressly permitted under applicable law, the Platform does not intentionally use expressions including, but not limited to:

• No.1 Advocate
• No.1 Lawyer
• Top Lawyer
• Top Rated Lawyer
• Premium Advocate
• Elite Lawyer
• Guaranteed Lawyer

The Company shall not intentionally compare one Advocate with another for promotional purposes.
The Company shall not represent that one Advocate is professionally superior merely because the Advocate appears higher in any search result.
Where search results are displayed, the order may depend upon neutral operational parameters including:
• Practice Area selected by the User;
• Language preference;
• City or geographical location;
• Availability of the Advocate;
• Consultation mode selected by the User;
• Time of booking;
• System performance;
• Technical filters applied by the User;
• Randomisation for fair allocation (where applicable);
• Other objective operational criteria.
The Company reserves the right to modify search algorithms from time to time in order to improve operational efficiency, fairness, regulatory compliance and user experience.
Nothing contained in the arrangement, sequence or visibility of Advocate profiles shall be interpreted as an endorsement, recommendation or certification by the Company.
The Company expressly disclaims any intention to influence a User's professional decision through rankings or promotional positioning.
Users acknowledge that search results displayed on the Platform are merely operational outputs generated by the Platform's technology systems and shall not be interpreted as professional recommendations.
7. ADVOCATE PROFILES
The Platform may display Advocate profiles solely for identification, operational and informational purposes.
The objective of displaying profile information is to enable Users to identify the concerned Advocate before requesting or accepting legal consultation.
Depending upon availability and information voluntarily submitted by the Advocate, the Platform may display:
• Full Name
• Enrollment Number
• State Bar Council
• Practice Areas
• Languages Known
• Years of Professional Experience
• Educational Qualifications
• Professional Memberships
• Office Address
• Consultation Availability
• Consultation Modes
• Working Hours
• Contact through Platform
• Profile Photograph (where permitted)
• Biography provided by the Advocate
• Court Practice Details (where voluntarily disclosed)
The Company does not independently verify every statement contained in Advocate profiles unless specifically required by law or internal verification policies.
Information displayed on Advocate profiles may have been supplied directly by the concerned Advocate.
The Company expects every Advocate to provide accurate, complete and updated information.
The Company reserves the right to request documentary verification whenever considered reasonably necessary.
The Company may modify, suspend or remove profile information if:
• information is inaccurate;
• information becomes misleading;
• professional misconduct is reported;
• regulatory concerns arise;
• legal notices are received;
• verification fails;

The availability of an Advocate profile shall never be interpreted as:

Reviews are intended solely to improve service quality and operational transparency.
All reviews represent personal experiences of individual Users.
Accordingly, reviews shall never be interpreted as:

Different Users may have different experiences with the same Advocate depending upon:

Any professional relationship created through the Platform exists solely between:
User ↔ Advocate
Ram Shree Legal Services Limited shall not be considered a party to such professional relationship.
Accordingly, the Company shall not be responsible for:

• legal opinion;
• litigation strategy;
• court representation;
• settlement negotiations;
• legal notices;
• pleadings;
• professional decisions;
• interpretation of law.
Every Advocate remains independently responsible for complying with:
• Advocates Act, 1961;
• Bar Council of India Rules;
• applicable State Bar Council Rules;
• Court Rules;
• ethical obligations;
• professional standards.
Nothing contained on the Platform authorises the Company to interfere with professional independence of any Advocate.
Similarly, nothing contained on the Platform requires any Advocate to accept every User request.
Advocates remain free to accept or decline legal engagements in accordance with applicable law and professional ethics.
10. NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME
The Company makes no representation or warranty regarding the outcome of any legal matter.
Without limitation, neither the Company nor any information displayed on the Platform guarantees:
• Bail;
• Anticipatory Bail;
• Acquittal;
• Conviction;
• Divorce Decree;
• Interim Relief;
• Injunction;
• Stay Order;
• Compensation;
• Recovery of Money;
• Settlement;
• Registration of FIR;
• Quashing of Proceedings;
• Success before any Court;
• Success before any Tribunal;
• Favourable Administrative Orders;
• Time required for disposal of proceedings.
Every legal dispute depends upon multiple factors including:
• facts of the case;

11. ADVOCATE'S INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Every Advocate associated with the Platform shall exercise complete independence in rendering legal services.
Ram Shree Legal Services Limited does not supervise, influence, dictate or control the professional judgment, legal opinion, legal advice, drafting, representation, negotiation strategy, litigation strategy or any professional decision taken by an Advocate.
The Platform shall not instruct any Advocate regarding:
• legal interpretation;
• drafting methodology;
• court arguments;
• settlement terms;
• filing strategy;
• legal opinion;
• legal research;
• professional conduct before any Court, Tribunal or Authority.
Every Advocate remains solely responsible for:
• legal advice rendered;
• documents drafted;
• pleadings filed;
• legal notices issued;
• opinions expressed;
• court appearances;
• statutory compliance;
• professional ethics.
The Company shall never interfere with the Advocate's independent professional responsibilities under the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules.
The User acknowledges that legal advice obtained through the Platform represents the independent opinion of the concerned Advocate and shall not be interpreted as the opinion of Ram Shree Legal Services Limited.
The Company does not review, approve or certify every legal opinion given by an Advocate.
12. PAYMENT FACILITATION
The Platform may facilitate electronic collection of payments solely for operational convenience through its official website:

• Platform policies have been breached;
• cyber security threats exist;
• abuse of the Platform has occurred;
• payment fraud is suspected;
• unlawful solicitation is detected;
• professional misconduct is reported;
• continued access may adversely affect Users, Advocates or the Platform.
Suspension may be temporary or permanent.
The Company may preserve records where required by applicable law.
Nothing in this clause limits the Company's right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies or competent authorities.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ram Shree Legal Services Limited shall not be liable for:

• drafting prepared by any Advocate;
• litigation strategy;
• judicial decisions;
• delay in judicial proceedings;
• negligence or misconduct of any Advocate;
• failure of internet services;
• third-party payment gateway failures;
• force majeure events;
• loss of profits;
• indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
The Company's total liability, if any, shall remain limited to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
17. USER DECLARATION
By accessing or using the Platform, every User declares and confirms that:

• no misleading advertisement shall be made through the Platform;
• information provided shall remain accurate and updated;
• legal services shall be rendered independently;
• all applicable Bar Council Rules shall be followed.
The Advocate remains solely responsible for professional services rendered through or in connection with the Platform.
19. AMENDMENTS
Ram Shree Legal Services Limited reserves the right to amend, modify, replace or update this Disclaimer at any time.

Users shall independently verify every important legal issue before relying upon AI-generated responses.
Whenever professional legal advice is required, Users should consult an independent Advocate.
24. AI DOCUMENT DRAFTING
The Platform may provide AI-assisted drafting tools for:

• Agreements
• Contracts
• Affidavits
• Applications
• Complaints
• Replies
• Employment Documents
• Commercial Documents
• Corporate Documentation
• Property Documents
• Other lawful legal templates.
All drafts generated by AI are preliminary working drafts.
Every AI-generated draft must be reviewed, edited and approved by the concerned User and/or Advocate before execution, filing or submission.
The Company does not warrant that AI-generated documents are legally complete, jurisdiction-specific or suitable for every factual situation.
25. AI LEGAL RESEARCH
AI tools may assist in locating statutes, judicial precedents, legal articles and publicly available legal information.
However:
• AI research may be incomplete;
• statutes may change;
• judicial precedents may evolve;
• legal databases may contain outdated information.
Users and Advocates remain responsible for independently verifying all legal authorities before relying upon them.
26. HUMAN VERIFICATION REQUIREMENT
Artificial Intelligence is designed to assist human decision-making—not replace it.
Every User acknowledges that:
• AI recommendations require independent verification.
• Important legal decisions should always be reviewed by a qualified Advocate.
• AI output should never be treated as a substitute for professional legal advice.
Where any inconsistency exists between AI output and an Advocate's professional opinion, the User should rely upon independent legal advice after considering the facts and applicable law.
27. AI LIMITATIONS
Artificial Intelligence may occasionally:
• generate incomplete information;
• produce inaccurate summaries;
• misunderstand context;
• omit important legal provisions;
• generate outdated references;
• contain drafting inconsistencies;
• provide generic rather than jurisdiction-specific information.
Accordingly, Users agree not to rely exclusively upon AI-generated output without appropriate human review.
The Company expressly disclaims responsibility for losses arising solely from blind reliance on AI-generated information.

The Platform may process information through Artificial Intelligence systems solely for the purpose of improving user experience, workflow efficiency, document organisation, language assistance, legal information support and operational automation.
Depending upon the services used by the User, AI systems may process:
• User queries;
• Uploaded documents;
• Audio recordings (where enabled);
• Voice commands;
• Chat conversations;
• Images and scanned documents;
• Metadata relating to appointments and consultations;
• Publicly available legal information;
• System logs required for security and operational purposes.
The Company implements commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information processed by AI systems.
AI processing shall be carried out only for legitimate operational purposes and in accordance with applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The Company shall not intentionally use confidential legal information for commercial sale, public disclosure or unlawful exploitation.
Where AI services are provided through trusted third-party technology providers, such processing shall be subject to appropriate contractual, technical and legal safeguards.
Users acknowledge that certain AI features may require temporary processing of uploaded content to generate responses, summaries or draft documents.

32. AI INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Users shall not:

• use Platform AI to build competing products without lawful authorisation.
Nothing contained in this Platform transfers ownership of AI technology or related intellectual property to any User or Advocate.
33. AI LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Artificial Intelligence is an assistive technology and may occasionally generate:
• inaccurate information;
• incomplete responses;
• outdated legal references;
• drafting inconsistencies;
• translation errors;
• factual misunderstandings;
• incorrect summaries;
• inappropriate recommendations.
Accordingly, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from:
• reliance on AI-generated content;
• failure to independently verify AI outputs;
• use of AI-generated draft documents without professional review;
• legal, financial or commercial decisions based solely upon AI responses;
• interruption or temporary unavailability of AI services;
• errors resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by Users.
Users expressly acknowledge that AI output is generated through automated computational processes and should always be reviewed by the User and, where appropriate, by a qualified Advocate before any legal action is taken.
34. AI USER DECLARATION
By using any AI-enabled feature of the Platform, every User declares and agrees that:
• AI is provided only as an assistive technology;
• AI is not a substitute for a qualified Advocate;
• AI responses may contain limitations or errors;
• important legal decisions will be independently verified;
• confidential information will be shared only where the User is legally authorised to do so;
• the User assumes responsibility for reliance placed upon AI-generated information after independent evaluation.
The User further agrees not to misuse AI features for unlawful, fraudulent or unethical purposes.
35. AI ADVOCATE DECLARATION
Every Advocate using AI-enabled tools on the Platform acknowledges and agrees that:
• AI tools are intended only to improve efficiency and workflow;
• professional judgment shall remain entirely independent;
• AI-generated drafts shall be reviewed before use;
• no pleading, notice, agreement or legal opinion shall be issued solely because it was generated by AI;
• the Advocate remains fully responsible for all legal services rendered.
Nothing contained in the AI functionality shall reduce or transfer the Advocate's professional responsibilities under the Advocates Act, 1961 or the Bar Council of India Rules.
36. AI REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
The Company intends to develop, deploy and operate AI-enabled services responsibly and in accordance with applicable Indian laws.
Where relevant, AI services shall be designed keeping in view:
• the Advocates Act, 1961;
• Bar Council of India Rules;
• Information Technology Act, 2000;
• Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
• Consumer Protection laws;
• applicable cybersecurity requirements;
• applicable tax laws;
• future statutory or regulatory requirements governing Artificial Intelligence.
The Company reserves the right to modify AI functionality whenever necessary to comply with judicial decisions, regulatory directions or legislative changes.
37. FUTURE AI TECHNOLOGIES
The Platform may introduce additional AI-enabled capabilities in the future, including but not limited to:
